In the quest to encourage deeper inquiry into our ‘obvious’ beliefs about the society and economy, South Asia SFL brings to you its Essay Writing Contest.
There are three descriptive pictures, each of which tries to make a point about the topic in contention. You need to write an essay in no more than 1,000 words explaining your thoughts on ONE out of the three topics.

The topics are abstract and the essays can be written by drawing from a variety of disciplines like economics, law, philosophy, politics etc.

The winning applicant will be judged on both style and content. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. There are lots of prizes to be won, along with discount passes for every participant to attend the First SFL Conference in Asia, scheduled to happen in Delhi in January 2015.
