The Indian Economist welcomes contributions from individuals eager to share their work with our readers.
Broad theme: Articles published on The Indian Economist must aim to fulfil either of two criteria:
(a) Something New: Your article must introduce a completely new subject, trend or topic that is not popularly known outside the topic’s insider group
(a) Fresh: Your article must introduce a completely fresh perspective on an existing topic
Subjects: We traditionally publish articles on Economics, Policy, Politics, Foreign Affairs, Business and Culture & Society.
Articles outside the above topic range will be examined on a case by case basis.
Length: Preferably between 600 words to 1,000 words. Longer pieces are accepted, but may be cut down or broken into an article series.
